The miracle that is you.

Over the weekend I read an article in the NZ Herald about the Human Genome Project. The purpose of which was to "determine the sequence of chemical base pairs which make up DNA and to identify the approximately 20,000-25,000 genes of the human genome from both a physical and functional standpoint".

One outcome of the project was that they now know there are 25,000 - 30,000 genes in the human genome.

Another was that they are still no nearer to knowing how we work. Why things happen in our brain to allow us to see when there is nothing that gathers all the millions of bits of information into one place.

You are a miracle. From the time a spark tells you to wake up in the morning and grab breakfast, to the energy in muscles that lets you to jump over puddles, you are a miracle.

Remember that. This is not mumbo jumbo or hairy fairy stuff. Scientifically you are a miracle and do great things.
