A common question over the last 4 or so years I have been writing the MondayMotivator is, "How do you come up with something every week?".
Answer; I read, a lot. I really like it and find as much time as possible to do so. Here are the books I have read this month.
Look me in the eye by John Elder Robison is great.
John was diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of forty and the story is about his life growing up not knowing why he was different, dealing with crazy parents, literally, success, and up to where he is now. I really enjoyed the way it was written and found it hard to put down. Find out more about John here, http://www.johnrobison.com/.
Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis is an interesting book. I wasn't sure what to expect but the guy was/is crazy. From drugs to jumping of buildings into swimming pools to the world of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers he has really been there, got the t-shirt.
I liked it. A very honest account of his life and interesting to learn about the Chilli Peppers and where they get inspiration for their songs.
I re-read one of my favourite books, The Redemption of Althalus, by David and Leigh Eddings.
Pure fantasy. I highly recommend it.
I also finished The Aladdin Factor by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. A book of theirs I had never heard of about the power of asking. Interesting and gave my the inspiration for a few MondayMotivators.
